About the Artist
Gaia's Gifts Handmade Jewelry by Lisa Curcio
Since 2000 Gaia's Gifts has offered quality handmade jewelry. My designs are
handmade originals designed and created exclusively by Me. I use semi-precious stones,
Sterling silver, Bali beads, fresh-water pearls, Swarovski Crystals, Czech glas and amber to create
jewelry that inspires joy. I get my designs from the Earth itself, from the
mountains that surround my home to the sunset that ends my day, there is color
and inspiration in every moment. The biggest inspiration of all though is the
family I share my life with. I have two wonderful boys ages 3 & 5 and last summer
I had a third little boy. Wow! We are quickly out growing our little home that we
spent so much time remodeling.
Gaia's Gifts is a Central Virginia based jewelry business completely owned and operated by Me, I do all of the work myself.
While I have been making jewelry for most of my life, officially my business was founded in 2000 in anticipation of my first son in 2001.
It has been a way for me to stay at home with my boys and help support my family, while being
creative at the same time. Now after close to 7 years it has become an important part of my life.
Not only is my jewelry a way for me to help support my family, it is also an amazing way to
decompress after crazy days with the kids. I have been selling my jewelry at Charlottesville's
City Market for the past 6 years. You can find me at the C’Ville City Market on Saturday mornings
from 7am to Noon from April thru October. I also sell at a number of Arts & Crafts
festivals throughout Central VA. Since my third baby boy was born though, I have not
been doing as much vending. Most of my creativity since he was born has been channeled through this
website. I have many plans to expand this site, both the Jewelry part of the
site and the Realm of the Faery. Please bookmark this site so you can check back

As you can see Jewelry is a big part of my life and takes up most of my website.
The rest of my site is dedicated to my love of Faeries and their magickal world.
I am inspired by the Faery Realm as much as anything else in my life. Faeries are a huge inspiration for my jewelry. I share
this love with my children and there isn’t a day that goes by without someone
catching a glimpse of a Faery. They have their Faery Spirits to protect them and
help them to be brave. Building Faery Huts is one of our favorite activities,
which always keeps our home and garden full of all sorts of Faeries. Our garden
is full of Faery foods and I am happy to say that my kids love to garden with
me.
